Hi my name is Paul, Im currently an IDPA Master, USPSA A-Class and certified NRA Instructor. I created the Gentleman Gunner my YouTube channel as a resource center for shooters looking to improve their performance and to provide quality reviews on firearms (largely competition type pistols). Originally, my approach was to create content that is in-depth, educational, sometimes cool and an actual taste of what the shooting community has to offer.

What The Gentleman Gunner has evolved into is creating content with the philosophy… “Don’t Love the Gun you enjoy shooting, but get the Gun that makes you love shooting.” Often times, I find myself having discussion about how newer shooters want to solve their shooting deficiencies by buying equipment rather than focus on whites actually important… training. This is why I started creating performance related content. In most cases, the gun and the enhancements do little to improve the shooter’s results. However, getting the gun to a point where you can focus on improving your skills can have a placebo and/or intrinsic gain that leads to a shooter becoming confident and wanting to go shooting.

In addition to being an avid shooter, I have a long background in the motorsports world as a former Porsche GT3 Cup driver and ran a racing school training Law Enforcement, Government Agencies, Celebrities and any one that wanted to improve their driving technique. It was a happy accident that led me to putting my motorsport career on the shelf and immersing myself into the action pistol community.
